About CryptoBit Mag
CryptoBit Mag covers the mechanics of cryptocurrency systems: how they work, how they fail, and what the tradeoffs actually are.
What we cover
Protocol fundamentals — fee markets, consensus, finality. Security and custody. DeFi mechanism design, including the arithmetic that governs it. And the documents the industry produces about itself: audit reports, disclosures, governance proposals.
What we don't do
No price predictions, no trade calls, no coverage timed to market moves. That work is well served elsewhere, it ages badly, and it pulls against the kind of explanation we want to publish. If an article would be wrong in six months because the market moved, we would rather not run it.
We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not publish sponsored content presented as editorial.
Corrections
Technical writing gets things wrong. When an article is wrong we correct it in place and mark the update date on the piece rather than quietly editing it. Corrections can be sent to the address below.
Not financial advice
Everything published here is educational. It is not investment, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Cryptocurrency carries real risk of total loss. Decisions about your own money are yours to make, ideally with advice from someone who knows your circumstances.
